After nearly three decades of successful leadership, Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Kalbitzer is handing over operational responsibility for scemtec Transponder Technology GmbH (sttID) to Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Hertrampf.

Founded in 1997, the company is one of the leading specialists in active and passive RFID systems as well as high-performance reader and antenna technologies for industrial applications.

Jürgen Kalbitzer is stepping down from his role in operational management at his own request in order to devote himself to new social and entrepreneurial endeavors in the future.

Andreas Hertrampf, an experienced manager, is taking over as CEO. He has approximately 30 years of professional experience, including leadership roles in customer and program management in the automotive industry, as well as in product and business development in the RFID industry. His extensive knowledge of the RFID industry and his many years of leadership experience provide the ideal foundation for successfully driving the company’s strategic development forward.

With this change in management, scemtec Transponder Technology GmbH is committed to both continuity and new momentum. The company will continue on its successful course and further expand its position as an innovative provider of RFID technologies for industrial applications.
